Horses to Watch (Feb 28-Mar 3)

‘Horses to Watch’ highlights horses that should be followed for potential wagering options in the future. Virtual stables or stable mail are good tools to help you follow along.

There are 2 horses featured on this week’s list.

Morton Glory (Mar 1: Race 9) Made the career debut here for 12.5k. Took no money at the windows and was sent off at 25/1. Got away from the gate slow and did not show much energy early. Made a nice sustained bid from last and rallied on very well in the stretch to finish a very close 2nd. Also, he closed into a loose leader that went gate-to-wire. Gallop out was strong. Should get a lot out of this race, and will be tough next out at this level.

Fabriana (Mar 3: Race 4) Broke well and got a nice spot on the rail. Sat in a comfortable spot within a length of the lead. She was loaded, but got boxed in through most of the stretch. Once she found room, she ran on strongly for 3rd. Also, she was claimed by one of the top ‘First-Off The Claim’ trainers John Martin. Was much the best here and should be super tough next out off the claim.
